The Skilled Pour: Bartending for the Hospitality Professional

Sign up for an upcoming bartender training class! This is a smart way to gain practical skills, confidence, and a competitive edge in the growing hospitality industry. Not only will you learn how to mix drinks, handle equipment, and provide excellent customer service, but you also gain valuable knowledge about responsible alcohol service, workplace safety, and local regulations.

Whether you’re starting a new career or a new position at your current employer or looking to enhance your skills in your current role, mastering the art of mixology with bartender training will give you hands-on experience and an industry recognized credential!

The class is approximately 30 hours spread over four, 7.5-hour days, typically scheduled Monday-Thursday. Beginning in 2026, the stipend for the Bartending course will be $639.00. Our team will explain attendance requirements related to the stipend on the first day of class, however, you should plan to attend all days and hours of the training.

Classes are IN PERSON from 10 am to 6 pm with a ½ hour lunch.

April 20-23 Registration for this class closes March 30, 2026. FULL!

Registration for classes close on date noted or prior if the class capacity reaches the limit of 10. Classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis.

This class is an INTRODUCTORY course for someone who does not currently work in a bartending role. Please check back to see when we offer the Advanced skill building mixology course, coming at a future date.

Eligible participants are current employees of partner employers who are also members of UNITE HERE! Local 8. See the Jobs link for the list of partner employers.

Participants should plan on a few weeks for the stipend payment to be processed. It is not available immediately after training.
